About Sandy Sun, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Sandy Sun is dual-board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner who is currently accepting new patients for in person and telehealth visits in Florida and North Carolina. 

Sandy is passionate about making folks feel welcome in seeking mental health services to improve their current situation and sense of well-being.  She believes that it is important to listen carefully to her clients. Her approach is holistic and integrated, focusing on addressing and treating the entire person.

Sandy will work with you to evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medications, and provide psychotherapy.  She incorporates medication management when needed, along with therapy and lifestyle prescriptions which may include nutrition and activity recommendations.  Additionally, she collaborates with other mental health professionals, and family practice and internal medicine physicians to coordinate your care.
